Note: Some oil will drip out.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWhile holding pipe nipple with vise grips, unscrew brass elbow.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eOutside the transom, snap white plastic clip on shaft protruding from the bottom of the cylinder.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eGrab the body of the cylinder with both hands and unscrew counter clockwise from actuator cap.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eScrew new cap onto cylinder. Tighten cap hand tight. Remove plastic cap. The white plastic clip can now be discarded.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eDetach old cap from transom. Remove pipe nipple.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eScrew pipe nipple back into new actuator cap. Tighten hand tight. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTighten on full turn past hand tight, but no more.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCover end of pipe nipple with masking tape.
